Suizhong resort is a waterfront development 3 hours drive north of Beijing on the coast of the Bohai Bay. The resort development includes 2 hotels, high rise housing and high end villas. In light of the distinctive character of each hotel, different landscape design principles are applied to each facility. For Keyu hotel, the design approach centers on the notion of health, wellness and longevity, providing an oasis of tranquility with landscape programs that include an infinity pool, an entry reflection pond, expansive gardens and outdoor seating. Inversely, the landscape principles applied to the Five Star Hotel are based on the concept of entertainment and celebration, with landscape programs featuring a wedding lawn, a reflection pond that turns into an ice-skating rink in winter, a game pool, an art plaza, four season gardens and more.
