The Coopertown Landscape Master Plan is a planning document that developed open space and street concepts for a new community development. The master plan builds a proprietary identity for the community that coalesces with the marketing strategy. The concepts are based on regional identity roots and open space programming but are formalized in a contemporary way. The designs are hydraulically functional and ecologically driven yet each park has a unique identity rooted in the region. The parks identities vary from prairie to farm to recreational centric in their programming. Areas for productive landscapes were also proposed as an incremental process depending on the interest and success in the coming years. The ultimate programming is for all season and all ages with winter programming being more important than in the warm seasons.
