The Dahao Lake Wetland Park vision takes it origins from what would have been the undisturbed natural conditions of the forests and water ecologies of Foshan. The use of environmental restoration techniques that focus on re-use of high value plant species present on the site, improved water quality management and connected open space systems create a landscape fabric and ecological foundation that shapes the sustainable development of the overall community. The unique “finger” topography characteristic to the Foshan landscape and water bodies serve as inspiration for a site derived landscape approach.
The wetland park at the Sales Center shall be the introduction to the community and sets the stage for the identity of the community at large.
Tim Anderson, Herb Kindsfater and Suzanne Serna, oversaw, designed and saw the project through implementation while at AECOM.
